Carousel sessions: Participants split into two groups on the first two days and then perfom on the third day.  These are active learning events featuring learning and performances of a specially arranged piece of music for both instrumentalists and singers.  Topics: Massed band and mini-choir with a videoed performance.

Tutors in Focus sessions: You choose options and study musical topics in-depth:  Meet the Trio - singers and front line meet and manage the house band, Arranging - the role and skills of the jazz arranger, The Life and Times of George Gershin - a biographical study, The Making of KInd of Blue - the history of this jazz classic, Core Tunes Deep Dive - an advanced exploration of the course core repertoire, Improvisation, the basics - a how-to guide for newer players.  

Practice sessions:  Practice rooms are available all day to use if you wish to.

Pre-course social Monday 6th April: Access to residential accomodation is available from late afternoon on Monday 6th April with an evening meal followed by an informal social event with a jazz quiz in the Hi-Hat.
